Oops I did it again

Yes, I'm sorry! 2nd time in which I broke my promise on blogging at a certain day but ended up not blogging.

Really a very hectic time at work. Am working on 5 big projects/cases right now, so I don't even have time to shit!

When will I be able to quote the below? *Sigh*

Bye Bye Idols Wannabe!

#1 - Kelly Clarkson
#2 - Ruben S
#3 - Fantasia B
#4 - Carrie Underwood
#5 - Taylor Hicks
#6 - ?
I've been an American Idol Fan since season#3.
Judging at past 2 night's 24 girls & guys' performances, I would say the female species rocks this yr! But then again, based on past year's votes it doesn't take someone with a great voice to be an American Idol. I recall Latoya, Jennifer Hudson, Mandisa and even Paris (not Hilton, mind you!), all of them had superb fantastic voices and yet they went out earlier than expected.
Anyway, to spoil the fun, I'm telling you the results fresh from the oven! *evil laugh*
The following idols went out this morning KL time:

Well, I guessed 2 of them right!
<> Paul Kim - great voice but seriously dude, that performance was nothing compared to the rest and plus he did not have any exposure prior to this, so no one with exception the judges, have any idea on how great he could be.
<> Amy - Somehow she was forgettable
I missed Rudy's performance, but I actually thought Nicole's performance was kinda weird. She doesn't look like a Soul R&B singer at all. She was 3rd in line in my 'goodbye idol' list....
The other 2 which I predicted was that pretty chick with the red top who sang Aerosmith's "don't wanna miss a thing" and Sundance, that big fat guy who I can't even remember what song he sang.
Oh well.. just a matter of time?

New yr and relatives

Happy chinese new year!

It has been an eating feast for the past few days.. eat eat eat everywhere I go, till I fell sick yesterday :(
Was on MC and am working from home today.

Anyway, the normal 101 questions that relatives will say when you're at a certain age:
CAT1 Age <17:> Wah.. so fast so tall! Prettier and prettier every yr!
CAT2 Age 17-21: So when will you be going overseas to study? How's cty xxx? Got boyfriend already or not?
CAT3 Age 21-married: So when are you getting married? This yr is the last year I'm giving you angpow ok?!

So of course, I fall into the 3rd category. And my frequent 101 answer this time round:

"I'm getting married in December, and since this yr's my last yr in receiving angpow, make sure it's a big big value one!"

hehe.. actually it's 1 of the best answer I gave as I've suffered previous years where I'll just go
Me: well, when the time is right, I'll let you know
Relatives: What are you waiting for? You're not getting any younger... blah blah blah...

Or those years when I jokingly said:

Me: Can't find any millionaire boyfriend la.. do you have any to recommend? *grin*
Relatives: hmm.. ya, actually uncle xx knows this guy, maybe you both should meet up!

Flowers arrived!

My flowers finally arrived about 11ish in the morning.
It's not too bad since it's "free" - I love red roses in general, so of course I loved it! And plus it had 2 little butterfly thingy on it, and a SORRY card from the florist!

Wow.
It makes me wonder - did they miss out alot more orders? HmMMmm...

- My belated Vday 'free' flowers : I think it would look better if they used a light greenish wrapper instead.

- Close up

- The 'sorry' card with an apology note in it :)

Free Flowers

Beary just emailed me saying that the Florist apologised on their mistake yesterday for omitting his booking, thus they want to send me a free bouquet today.

Woo.. free flowers! Well, my philosophy holds.. Everything happens for a reason!
