*sigh* What a hectic day it has been.
I started off the morning good.. I mean afterall it's friday, the weekday that majority look forward to right? And then came 'the' call from Beary. He was furious and pissed off as he just managed to check his personal email today (as his desktop was down yesterday) and received an alarming email from an agent that we have contacted to help us with the visa application.
The agent, R, sent me a separate mail yesterday in which I did not read till Beary asked me to check, and it was an email full of bad assumptions & threatening to sue us - stating that I am exploiting a friend's relationship (it's my friend's uncle) to 'fish' information from him since Beary did ask few generic questions prior to telling him that we are interested to acquire his svcs. FYI, those questions are similar to what Beary has been asking the other agencies as well.
All Beary did was basically tell him on the 31st Jan that we will not pursue the visa application at the moment, as we have decided to apply it later in the year instead. R then emailed me asking what's the situation. And the very next day, 1st Feb, he sent a note to Beary informing Beary to pay up the 1st installment, reason being that he has provided some advice to Beary about the visa application. On the very same day, he emailed me a long 'accusive' note threatening to sue us if we do not pay up by Monday 5pm, since neither of us responded to his 31st Jan note. For God's sake, it's only the 2nd freaking day! And he did not even call us to ask us what's happening prior to deciding to bring this case to court! This is even worse than comp's escalation process! No heads up whatsoever!
So beary called me and I had to calm him down. I did not know that something like that could go so wrong in such a short time. Beary was so upset and pissed off, that I know he would make the situation worse if he spoke to R about it. Thus I called R up. It was not a good call at first, and he actually hung up my phone without hearing my side of the story thoroughly. I called him back AGAIN. This time stating that I just want to clear things up so that we could work 'smoothly'.
The situation with R is that his ears are closed - it's either
1) pay up by Monday, 5th Feb 5pm & he will continue to 'help' us (but really, we have lost faith in this working relationship with him) OR
2) don't pay by then, get sued and probably get my application jeopardized even if we might have a chance to win the case since to us, there was not much private 'advice' given. Also, if R felt that the questions Beary asked was private, he should have stated in advance that we need to pay first, but NO! What he did was just suddenly put a ticking bomb into our bags.
So I did the unpredictable - I was actually polite to him and apologised in most of my sentence as though I am 100% guilty. Maybe part of it was due to the fact that it's my friend's uncle. And another part of it was due to the fact that the more I argue, the more I will loose out. I don't need these type of stress. But really, I was majorly upset in the fact that he accused me of exploiting my friend's r/s with the agency, and accused me of not having any integrity and principle!
HELLO, I AM BROUGHT UP WITH GOOD VALUES & INTEGRITY AND AM ALSO TRAINED AT WORK REGARDING INTEGRITY!
What a blow to me as I never thought my 1st dealing with this cty will be like that. First the wedding planner, now the application agency. What have I done? Is this an omen?

The engaged people have to take the decision of whether to go for the wedding planner person or plan the wedding by themselves. Most of budget planing people will opt for the wedding app because it saves money and helpful to couples to plan the wedding successfully.
